Tagging datalogs

Postby Mario » Sun Jul 25, 2010 3:02 pm

Is there a way to have TunerStudio tag a datalog with the current tune so when Megalogviewer opens that log there is a dialog that shows which tune was used for that log? I often confuse myself with this so I'm sure others do to,

Cheers!

Yeah, I've been thinking about a way to handle that. If you could actually save the msq data to the log file so you knew that was what you were driving on. I really just need to get back on MLV some to get it caught up. I want to put in a new log format in TS, but until I get to updating MLV there isn't much point as there would be no where to view it :)

Haha right! Well I will just have to keep my eyes open for the new MLV then. On that note it there a way to replay a log in tunerstudio intead of MLV ? Fake the program a little? That would be cool!

That is actually one of the things the new log format would allow for... Because I plan to log the raw data to reproduce all outputchannels instead of just the ascii representation of the selected log fields. And you know by logging in binary the file sizes would be smaller even though they had a bunch more data.
