Gammae spikes down in boost

Post by braineack »

I've been noticing an odd lean spike in boost that I've never seen before. Started taking some logs and noticed my gammae is spiking downwards to 80, just trying to determine what is causing it so I can prevent it. Looks like maybe TPS or MAPdot noise?

Looks like I might have been on the right track. Notice my TPS filtering was set to 30, and I've always known it to be a jittery signal, bumped it to 80% and didn't notice anything when driving, just need to look at my logs I took.

That's weird... since at least in MS2/extra, TPSAcc would show decel leaning, and TPSAcc is at 100 when this is happening. But maybe MS3 is different?

I could be wrong and it's still doing it, i left my laptop on my passenger seat, else I'd confirm it ;)

Every time it happens I see bit 8 go 'Y', i escapes me what that indicates, but I thought it was for decel. You can see my TP log is a little jittery even though it's mashed to the ground, between 99.6-100.5%

I went the correct way to smooth the TPS right? If anything it's worse.

With the lag factors, a higher number is quicker response. A lower number is more smoothing. The number is how much influence (in percent) a new input value will have on the averaged value - so 100 is no averaging at all, and 50 gives equal weighting to the new input value and the prior averaged value.

Bit 8 is MAPdot decel.
