Now I measure Porsche coil. Current- and voltage curves here.

- Coil "trigged", when INPUT voltage is over 2,5V.
- Input voltage 2,5 - 6V, > Input CURRENT keeps the same ( about 13mA ).
- Shutdown timer stop coil charging without spark if Dwell-time is too long (over 15ms).

Bumping this thread back to the top. Did anyone ever find a definitive solution and get these coils tested and working?

What You mean this "tested and working"?
Page 4, last post is Primary-/secondary currents and input voltage/-current scope curves. What else You wish to know?
